What we have been listening to is a lot of NPR in the car, but that's been depressing (fossil fuels = end of world in 35 years) and I'd rather not get into it. I already added bug-out bags to our wedding registry. No need to dwell further.
So, Coachella! We're not going to Coachella this year. We will probably never go to Coachella. And that's fine, because we'd need new "fest-best" wardrobes and we'd have to get ourselves all the way to Indio, California. Plus this article says the festival is dusty and full of people uninterested in the music. Which is nuts since the line up is pretty baller (Outkast!). Besides, I love crawling into my own clean bed at midnight too much to camp out with a bunch of kids. Old lady Dacey is here and it's OK.
I try to catch up on the Coachella lineup (especially the newer acts) via Spotify playlists. My fav so far this year is from Fuse (I was sold by the first song, a total classic, "Where is my Mind" by The Pixies, and I could listen to "The Wire" by Haim 100x a day). I haven't been able to really get into it yet to make any magical discoveries, but once we're back in the office I definitely hope to find my newest jams (+ I'll share any serious finds).
Oh, and if you panic when you realize you can't star songs in Spotify since the latest update (like I did) click here for more info on the change.
