If you're not from the Boston area (or didn't listen to the radio around noon on weekdays, maybe while skipping high school classes) you might not know what Julie was all about. No prob: when I was growing up she was the star of a popular (?) radio show called "Leftover Lunch." It was all the 80s and 90s throwback hits - but like, the cool throwbacks. The Cure, not The Partridge Family.
I was flipping through Sonos stations in the workshop the other day and totally unintentionally stumbled across Julie, spinning very similar tunes to her Leftover Lunch days, but under a RadioBDC show called "Lunch At Your Desk." Alternative hits from the 80's and 90's weekdays from noon to 1pm. Check it out. Maybe do like I did in HS: skip a couple of hours of work, sit in someone else's car, drink a warm coke, and enjoy that awesome feeling of getting away with it.
P.S. More about BDC on Boston.com here
