Over the winter we made a peppermint/chocolate martini that was declared delicious by all who tasted it. For Thanksgiving we had pumpkin spice shots (not so universally loved) and at Halloween we dissolved candy corn in vodka to make sugary sweet shots (omg, yum).
Since we're already sharing our favorite music, step-by-step instructions, and DIY attempts with you we thought it made sense for us to also share our seasonal bar drinks. After all sharing means caring.
In honor of the slightly less freezing weather, we're currently enjoying a cocktail we call the Spring Fling (ingreds and instructions below) - hope you give it a whirl and drink it up while running through fields of flowers and singing along with blue jays.
2 parts (oz) Vodka (we like Titos)
1 part (oz) Triple Sec (cheap)
Put ice in a pint glass. Add vodka and triple sec. Add a couple of fingers/splashes of cranberry juice. Fill rest of glass with club soda. Add a couple of squeezes of lime juice. Stir. Top with a slice of lime and a straw and enjoy!
