This is a quick and easy DIY, but a solid one. A life changing one... ya know, if you also hate looking at cord piles.

- Super hardcore scissors
- Basket big enough for all your stuff
- Extension cord
- All the other cords in the world
This is what I was cleaning up and hiding.
Chop a square hole (or round if you're fancy like that) into the basket. I made my hole a couple inches up from the bottom of the basket. The hole was about 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide when I finished cutting (more pics below).
If your basket is weaved like mine you may also have to pull the pieces apart to get a nice cut going.
Here's what my hole looked like when I finished. It's imperfect, but I'll have it face the wall anyways.
Unplug everything. Detangle the cords. Prepare yourself for a tidier life.
Yep. Put your extension cord into the basket first and thread the plug through the new hole.
I plugged in a phone charger, a standing lamp, a space heater, and some other crap.
Thread them through the hole and then plug them into the extension cord.
Go slow and be super tidy, it's way easier to keep it up once this is done.
The cords are hidden inside the basket and your floor is free of clutter
